The CFIDS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help Program is still accepting signups (through Sep 1) for the fall 2008 session of its e-mail Self-Help Course, created by Bruce Campbell, PhD. (The next class will start in January 2009.)
The course, which begins September 8, is a 6-week e-mail discussion group that focuses on practical strategies for managing common problems of CFIDS and fibromyalgia. The course includes discussion on managing both symptoms and their effects – stress, relationship and work issues, emotions, and loss.
The cost of the course, which includes a hard copy of The Patient’s Guide to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia (also available free online) is $30 in US and Canada, $35 in rest of world, or $20 for those who have access to the book. Two free follow-up programs are open to course graduates: an advanced self-help course and a discussion group.
